Our Lady of Guadeloupe -- Juan Diego, 55,
was walking down Tepeyac hill In Mexico City to go
to Mass on Saturday, December 9, 1531, when the
Blessed Virgin appeared and sent him to the
Bishop  to have a temple built where she stood.
She was at the same place that evening and
Sunday evening to get the bishop's answer. The
Bishop was unsure of Diego, and asked him for a
sign from Mary, but didn't ask for a specific sign.
On Tuesday, the 12th, Mary again appeared to Juan
Diego, calling herself Holy Mary of Guadeloupe and
asked him again to go to the bishop. He asked her
for the sign the Bishop wanted. She told him to go
up to the rocks and gather roses. Although the time
of year was not growing season, and the place
rocky, he went and found roses. He put them in the
lap of his tilma and took them back to Mary. The
Holy Mother rearranged the roses herself, and told
him to go to the Bishop.  Juan Diego went to the
Bishop and opened his tilma to let the roses fall
out. He was startled to see the bishop and his
attendants kneeling before him: the life size figure
of the Virgin Mother, just as he had described her,
was glowing on the tilma.

The tilma was made of either maguey, corn or
cactus, and is very thin. It should have deteriorated
in about 20 years, but is still intact today! Recent
scientific studies revealed that the reflection of a
man (Juan Diego) can be seen in the eyes of Mary
on the tilma.

Our Lady of Fatima -- The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of
God, appeared 6 times to 3 shepherd children; Lucy, Francisco and
Jacinta; between May 13 and October 13, 1917. She came to the
little village of Fatima which had remained faithful to the Catholic
Church during the recent persecutions by the government.

She told us that God had chosen to use Russia as the instrument
of chastisement to punish the whole world if we did not, by our
obedience, prayers and sacrifices, obtain the conversion of Russia
to the Catholic faith. She promised us, "If My requests are granted
Russia will be converted and there will be peace". But She also
warned us, "If My requests are not granted, Russia will spread her
errors throughout the world raising up wars and persecutions
against the Church, the good will be martyred, the Holy Father will
have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated." She has
told us that the whole world (the part surviving) will be enslaved by
the atheistic tyrants of Russia. Visit

Our Lady of Lourdes :  In 1858, in the grotto
of Massabielle, near Lourdes in southern France,
Our Lady appeared 18 times to Bernadette
Soubirous, a young peasant girl. She revealed
herself as the Immaculate Conception, asked that
a chapel be built on the site of the vision, and told
the girl to drink from a fountain in the grotto. No
fountain was to be seen, but when Bernadette dug
at a spot designated by the apparition, a spring
began to flow. The water from this still flowing
spring has shown remarkable healing power,
though it contains no curative property that science
can identify. Lourdes has become the most
famous modern shrine of Our Lady.

promises of Christ. Amen

FATIMA PRAYER: Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I offer
You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ,
present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the

Our Lady's 15 Promises for Saying the Rosary
  • Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the
    rosary, shall receive signal graces.
  • I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all
those who shall recite the rosary.
  • The rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will
destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
  • It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for
souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the heart of
men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift
them to the desire of eternal things.  Oh, that souls would
    sanctify themselves by this means.
  • The soul which recommend itself to me by the recitation of the
    rosary, shall not perish.
  • Whoever shall recite the rosary devoutly, applying himself to
the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be
conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His
justice, he shall not by an unprovided death; if he be just he
shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of
    eternal life.
  • Whoever shall have a true devotion for the rosary shall not die
without the sacraments of the Church.
  • Those who are faithful to recite the rosary shall have during
their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of
His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in
the merits of the saints in paradise.
  • I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to
    the rosary.
  • The faithful children of the rosary shall merit a high degree of
    glory in heaven.
  • You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the
    rosary.
  • All those who propagate the holy rosary shall be aided by me
    in their necessities.
  • I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of
the rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court
during their life and at the hour of death.
  • All who recite the rosary are my son, and brothers of my only
    son Jesus Christ.
  • Devotion of my rosary is a great sign of predestination.
(Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan) Imprimatur: Patrick J. Hayes
DD Archbishop of New York)
