Community Businesses, St. Brigid Parishioners and Friends collaborated to make our annual summer carnival a
success. In 2009, our Carnival visitors went on a Walk-About to the Land Down Under...Fun was had by all!!
Father Joe was our Sky Pilot as he joyously greeted visitors and visited the G'Day Café. Although the weather
played havoc with us for a few nights and somewhat hampered our attendance, we had a great crowd on Friday
and Saturday which helped make this year's Carnival Down-Under a great success.
We give a special "Hats off" to our community business partners and especially to Harry's American Bar for their
immeasurable support and the spectacular Crab Soup, Mamma's on the Half Shell for their scrumptious crab
cakes and blessed generosity and to Mars Supermarket for their continued contributions. We appreciate
everyone's continued support and look forward to or next year's event.

Oy Mates!, We wish to thank all those who joined us in the Walk-About at the 2009 Carnival
Down-Under. Good on ya'! Whether you were on our planning committee, were part of the
bush telegraph effort & did the chin waggin' with the tall puppies, the joe bloggers &
cobbers to get donations or set up & decorated the Outback & Bush, baked, manned the
BillaBong Cafe & served the tucker, worked the sheds and galleries or were an offsider..
